2004 Acura TSX Official Specs and Pics
Pictures
2004 Acura TSX Specifications
- 2.4 Liter DOHC, i-VTEC
- 200 Horsepower@6800 rpm; 166 ft/lb@4500 rpm
- 5 speed SportShift transmission
- 6 speed close ratio manual transmission
- Drive by wire throttle system
- Double wishbone suspension
- VSA
- 17 inch Alloy wheels and P215/50R17 Tires
- Dual stage airbags, side airbags and side curtain airbags
- HID Xenon headlights
- Navi system with voice recognition ($2,200 option)
- Perforated leather seats and steering wheel
- dual zone auto climate control
- 360 total watts audio system with 8 speakers and 6 disc in dash changer
---------------------------
Pics from Acura. Apparently, an Acura dealer who first leaked this information claims we will see a Type-S but not immediately, more like in the fall. Oh well. Seems like a reasonable step above the Accord with the 17" wheels, audio system (which is really surprising in its power), HID's, and drive by wire.

if ur mom had plans for a 5 series - depending on model of course - u could probly push for a TL AND TSX...

TSX is nice, but...
... nice car indeed, but a few nitpicks...
1....no body- side moulding, destined to be dent magnet unless you avoid parking lots...
2....back plate in trunk lid!! Yuk!! I hate when they do that... Put the damn plate under the rear bumper and keep a clean trunk!!!..
3....rear leg-room, just about as much rear legroom as was in the Vigor... which is NONE... (but who cares anyway right? it's a driver's car and we wont certainly sit in the back...)
4...much more money than Mazda 6 but if comparable equipped, TSX comes out on top... (no relation to Ford either, which is a tell-all...)
Other than that, I'm all for it...
