Hybrid Honda (honda.hybrids.jp) and a chapter of an MR2 club are having a track day on November 29, 2002. That is the Friday after Thanksgiving. Why bother with crowded shopping malls when you can have a day of hotlapping? It will be at Buttonwillow!
