I was wondering if i decided to get a factory perfomace suspension package like a- spec on rsx which upgrades brakes and suspension would that put me in sts... or would that still be stock? thanks

The suspension pieces are definitely not legal for STOCK. You would go to STS.

Unless A-spec is available from Acura the same way, it isn't considered stock in SCCA.

What is said over and over:
Trim packages: If you convert every single piece of difference to the other trim it's legal. But the burden of proof is on the driver of the protested car, and it's nearly impossible to prove you covered everything. If your car was shipped with A Spec that's one thing. If you are upgrading the car, man i donno, that's going to be tough. The second you mess with a spring on a car you're out of stock though.

I am actually thinking of getting scion tc with trd spring and swaybar and was wonderign if that would be stock. I am guessing if i were to add supercharger (not that i can) it would not be stock but i can order spring shocks and sway bar as options. (i can click on the BOX when i order it)
So i was not sure.
So i was not sure.

i thought it had to be a factory option not dealer option. chances are even if it is factory option, it wont be in stock class. Mini Cooper S with JCW kit gets bumped to CSP? or DSP? I forget which class.

Yes has to be a FACTORY option not dealer option. Which means if they put the parts on the car at the dealer (which most aftermarket parts are done) it's not legal.
And I forget where the JCW Mini goes. I heard back in Feb it was going to BS or CS (instead of DS).
