IN REFERENCE TO THE CAMERA PHONE PICS OF THE YELLOW GT40:
I can't say for sure on account of the pics, but it's possible you could have encountered a replica. There are a number of firms that make very impressive replicas. I love the GT40, it has a presence and beauty all its own. The fact that it handed Enzo's boys their asses at Le Mans only sweetens things. It may not be elegant in the same manner as a 365 Daytona, but it is beautiful all the same.

Ehh if I had to bet I would say it was a replica. Cuz this guys house was nice, but not like mansion nice. But a real one is worth like what? $1million? I doubt he would own a car worth more than his own house. He was some Arab guy, maybe he owned an oil well in the middle east.

^ Werd. I'm now looking at buying a Westfield R300 Superlight rolling chassis, then fitting it with either a S/C'd B20 or a Suzuki GSX-1300 R motor, patterned after Westfield's own Mega Busa R500.
So think of a Lotus Seven with no windscreen, CFRP bodywork, tubular steel and aluminium frame, weighing apx. 1570lbs, powered by 190 to 270hp... :drool:
