To get gas or not to get gas
My low fuel light hasn't come on yet. So should I drive until it comes on and then drive another 70 more miles and run her dry. Or do I just do the smart thing and fill her up.

When I had my Cutlass it was giving me 10-12 mpg at best. It had a 16 gallon tank and that time gas prices were at its highest around here. So I go into the gas station and start pumping. The tank fills up and the total is $28, I'd just pumped 16 gallons of 93 octane into my Olds. Needless to say she went another 180 miles before she wanted more gas.

:jawdrop: That's the year I have.... It runs really great... just needs some basic body work to fix rust spots. I can't even seem to sell it for 500... (or 100 on Ebay)

If that car hadn't sold I was gonna take out all the interior parts, put a roll cage in, put a V8 motor in it and use it as a drag racer.

That would have been pretty cool. The mileage in this one is 134200. Not TOO bad for an 89. I actually have fun driving it. It's a shame my mom wants it gone.. I'd keep it as a winter car. Those things are TANKS.
