unless you're talkin bout universal fuel engines (such as the military version of the hummer) but those definitely aren't the norm, and the spark plugs only are needed when burning gasoline/ethanol/alcohol based fuels, not diesel.

call up a MB dealer and talk to a mechanic if you want. MB diesels have sparkpulgs.
