you would need to find a E46 rear diffy. I would imagine it's something that came with the SPORTS PACKAGE!

It kind of sucks but it hasn't been fixed on either tranny. The main reason for swapping out the first manual tranny was that something was messed up internally and the shifter just felt completely loose. That selector rod thingy had no resistance and was able to be slid and wobbled too easily.

I think it's because of age. Germans can do everything else right but have problems sealing things properly. I'll try to fix it later when it really bothers me.

eheheh sort of... but i found out that no E46 has LSD rear diff. Except the M3 and maybe the 330i PP but I'm not sure on that. (LSD is not listed in the Performance Package upgrade so probably no)
