Default Letting someone else change your oil...

I'm letting my oil get changed by someone else today... on account of the fact that I misplaced my filter wrench when I moved... h: ... and my jack-stands have gone missing as well...

Oh well... Havoline 5w-30 full-service change for $14.95 works for me... same shop I took my Toyota to for 2+ years w/o a single problem... besides, I get the full-service for the basic lube, oil, and filter price.

What are the pros/cons of letting someone else (quick-lube type place) change your oil and how many of you trust any random place (or Wal-Mart, heaven forbid) to change your oil?

they usually over tighten th efilter and make it a task to change it the next time around.
