cashing check Q??

Default cashing check Q??
my teacher wrote me a check and put it in my name. i dont have a bank account anywhere so is there anyplace i can cash it? :thinking:

i think any bank will do it, but you need ID, probably a drivers liscence or SSN card (call one and ask)

go to the bank where the ckeck is from...if it's BofA then go there....they'll cash it for you, with ID. Other than that you can go to a cash placing place that'll charge you.

easy noopy

sign it on the back and give it to your mommy/daddy/seaster/brwther or someone else with a bank account. then have them give you the cash equivalent. they can then deposit the check into their bank account

Just write "Pay to the order of: (name of person cashing it for ya)" and sign your name, then they can cash it or deposit it or whatever in their account.
