Raps effect on the youth of America
"don't you be hatin' on me!" :jerkit:
"man, that phat, yo!" :jerkit:
"wassup, boi!" :jerkit:
God, did people get dumber? I guess rap is cool and all to bump to, but I don't know.
There's this kid that lives up the road from me. He's a white country boy, drives a lifted f150, and bumps cRap music all day long :jerkit:
and I know there's a million other kids just like him.
and it would be one thing if it was just part of his musical repituar, or if he listened to less comercialized music, but thats not the case.
or maybe I'm too cynical?

I bump rap every now and then... not all the time though, it's just part of my music that I listen to...
but yeah... some vehicles/drivers look odd bumping rap... not to say that I don't (6'2", white, wearing Carhaart's & workboots most days for work) but I don't bump that often...
I think it's even funnier (is that a word?) when people w/o subs or anything bump with the windows down like they're pimpin' with the rattling stock speakers...

I think people need to stop overanalyzing what music others listen to. You don't like the music he listens to, he probably doesn't like the music you listen to. It's a free country, we are allowed to have opinions. Now I listen to Rap, Hip hop, and lots of underground rap and hip hop...but I also listen to all kinds of other music...minus country. I also don't speak like a complete tool.

see, thats how I am. And when I do bump it, its usually something more independent (like deltron 0) , or actual milestone acts (like the beastie boys).
but usually I just listen to rock.

and also his music teaches hate and intolerance, and things of the sort. But then again, maybe people are retards when they listen to music, and don't take in the whole message.
Thats what I do when I listen to it, so who knows. I guess not everyone is smart :dunno:

All I listen to is rap...ya, nothing else. Ebonics however is an accepted dialect, its not just like people are trying to seem uneducated, its a class in some schools. However...I still laugh every time I see an ignorant white kid bumping rap and trying to act all ghetto fab when I'm sure he's never left his secluded small town or suburb.

rap is a fucking plauge. Not to say modern rock is much better, but at least rock had its time of joyful unification and attempted world peace (ie, 60s and 70s)

thats exactly what I'm talking about.
Although, the more I think of it, Rap had its point of harmony and a time when it was considered real music.
but at that time, it was called Jazz.
