Dell is having a smoking deal with 20% off of software and knick knacks, including digicams. I calculated the payment and it comes out to $214. This deal ends tomorrow night, should I go for it or do camera prices drop often?

 

its not so much that they drop prices, but new models keep coming out like no tomorrow. i sold several cameras to my customers, a week later i find out that it already got replaced :eh: ..........and the discontinued ones first shipment didnt even make it yet :squint:

 

Hrmmmmmm. I need something to shoot the used parts I'm planning on selling. That and I want to bring a camera for the Vegas trip. I wonder if a deal like this will come again.

 

if you NEEEED a camera, I say go for it...but if you really don't I say find something with atleast 3 megapixels.

yeah i agree.... but i mean for the price, tha A60 is nice camera for sure... i personally like Nikons, but Canon makes some great cameras too. but if you can wait a bit, id also suggest at least a 3meg camera.

 

Ah hell, I can't afford this luxury right now. Hopefully I'll find a better deal down the road. Thanks for the help RB and Eddie

 

camera prices ARE dropping. the a60 is discontiued and have been replaced by the a70 right.

both models have been known to have soft picutres. some people experience them, some dont. i have.

ive seen the a70 for $250ish. its probably going to go lower. i just frequent fatwallet.com a lot. h:
