bought me a case of Redline D4ATF and a case of 75W90 gear oil :D
Going to change the diff fluid (75W90) and the tranny oil next weekend :-D
and my friend, and my friends friend and probably Tony too. Unless Tony is too busy doing nothing at home with Mochi

I'll also be doing brake fluid. which should be every other year.
but changing it = cheap insurance against diff failure
in your case we probably only need to change the tranny fluid.
Garys friend with the 323i is going to change it in his car!

Fluids are pretty easy to change. On my car for tranny all you do was crack open a bolt to drain the fluid, put it back in, crack open another bolt on top and also the "level" bolt, and just pour it in until it comes out of that "level" bolt. Really easy.
Brakes are ok as long as you use a vacuum pump of some sort, **** doing the pressing down brakes method.

werd the longest part would be putting the car on jack stands
with the motive pressure bleeder it should be a snap. while the tranny is draining I can bleed the brakes at the same time
I went with the motive because I've read that pressure bleeding is better than the old pumping the brakes as well as the vacuum bleed for ABS equipped cars. It was cheap ($45bucks) so no complaints
