Is it worth/Possible to .....
Fight a Running a red light ticket caught by a photo radar? I really would like to have some comments and help on this.
To make the story short, a mistake was made....no funny excuses.... I think lights were not seen because of the sun glare ..no point in blaming the Arizonz sun for that!!!
I got the following my posatl mail a) photos of the back of my car with the number plates
b) photo from the front where you can almost make out "me" driving the car ( sun visor was down so you can't see me completely but still figure out the face )
These are the Options in the order I would like to do I have
Option-1 => Plead Not responsible. I prefer this
Take the help of an attorney..claim that my brother who was visting me was driving the car btw I am from Asia and I can claim that the person on the photo is my brother and he has gone back to his country. ..he was driving my car without my permission.. etc etc etc what do you guys think about this?
Are they going to buy this? Do I have to give further evidence?
Option-2 => Not sure whether I want to do this
Pay the $200 fine. Have the points go to DMV records and insurance records. Not sure about the points...or increase in the premium for the next 2,3 years
btw I can't go a defensive driving school and have no DMV points as I have attended one school one 1 year back
Option-3 => Not possible
Tell them that somebody was driving the car at that time...
(They give you an option to say that..but you have to provide them the drivers name , address, license etc)

Alright..a friend of mine got one of those red light camera tickets a while ago in San Diego.....and she fought it and didn't have to pay anything. She claimed that since her sun visor was down that it was not her driving the car...because since it was down they could not positively identify that it was her.

my face is only partially covered so I can't go for the REGULAR
Not responsible plea... with my Asian face cut ( for some people most of the Asians look more or less the same) and the possibility of my brother visiting me + plus a decent lawyer, I might be able to come out clean

grow a beard and say thats not you in the picture..
i helped a friend fight one but it was kinda different.. he was in the left turn lane behind a car and a city bus.. well the bus stops for the bus stop at the corner and holds up like 3-4 cars in the intersection and then the light turns red.. damn camera took some nice side shots of my friend.. well we just said the bus was holding up the line of cars and the judge let all of the cars who were caught behind the bus go. good shiet good shiet.
