Default aim convo between my and my friend v1.xxxxxx

my friend: You get a chance to contact your insurance company? I'm on the phone with AAA at this moment

Dakar M: nope

Dakar M: i have a copy of he agreement/contract at home

my friend: They're trying to figure out what High Performance Driving School means to them

Dakar M: hahahah

Dakar M: how about just driving school :-)

my friend: I think driving school is the run of the mill stuff

Dakar M: high performance safety driving school :-D

my friend: like what you take before you go to the DMV

Dakar M: just put the word safety in there some where :-)

my friend: ClubZ calls their event High Performance Driver Education

my friend: HPDE

Dakar M: they should rename to HPSDE :-)

my friend: Ha ha

my friend: What gets me is that I can drive 100 mph on the freeway, run off the road and that would be covered (though I haven't posed that scenario)

Dakar M: hahhahahh

Dakar M: or even 70mph

Dakar M: and you could be drunk at time and you're still covered!

my friend: still on the phone

Dakar M: the "supervisor" probably went to lunch

my friend: okay I'm covered

my friend: I'm also covered if I'm drunk and driving 80mph on the freeway!

The question asked was if he attends a HPDE and he wrecks the car will it be covered.

No it is not covered.

Any time the car hits track events or "performance based events" the coverage stops.

This is what I was told by 4 different companies. So if I crash while racing or on the track at all I am 100% on my own.

Umm did you read the last part?

The insurance company has said he is covered.

Of course if it was a race than he would not be covered. BTW he has AAA. So I am surprised they said he is covered.

Thus AutoX not covered, HPDE covered.
