I saw Blue Velvet a while back, and haveto say that it is seriously one disturbing movie.

Isabella Rossellini...damn she is beautiful...

My top 5 in no order:

The Godfather
Plein Soleil (The original "The Talented Mr. Ripley")
The Seven Samurai
Battle Royale
A Clockwork Orange

Honestly, I cannot really rank a top 5 movies, but these are just some...

Saviour - good picks! I nearly put Seven Samurai on my list... also Barry Lyndon nearly made it.

Top 5 is hard as hell to choose... I keep remembering more and more I want to add.

Seems like we have a John Woo fanatic, like I. I have the Criterion Collection edition of Hard Boiled and The Killer, and both of them go for $300 bucks now.

God of Gamblers, I loved that movie! I watched damn near all of those gambler movies like King of Gamblers and whatnot. I still remember one of the gambler movies where the main character slices off his hand, because he lost the match and all of the sudden in the end he comes back with a new hand! I also love how they toss around those $1 billion "slabs" like nothing.
