Default Thoughts on drinking wine

So last night I decide wine is a good idea and buy a little bit.

I drank a liter of the stuff Now I'm not a big drinker..especially wine but I got trashed on it.....why does wine do this so well?

I enjoyed it and woke up fine but damn I got trashed quick without even trying....hmmmm maybe i will have some more wine tonight

I prefer red wines, not much on the whites. Over winter break some friends and I went to a condo at about 14k ft. A buddy of mine got drank under the table by a 17 y.o. girl on that arbor mist stuff. I drank till the real red was gone, then managed a couple of coronas before we all crashed.

Anyway, wine is good stuff, but I only drink it on holidays, usually.

See, I think I'll be more of a white wine drinker from past experiences, but who knows..

If you wanna get trashed quick off of mild wine, I suggest trying a saki

But the true consuer as I am, I prefer a toasty merlot on a cool fall afternoon while enoying a fine premium smoke of the mild flavores of havanna....h:

I enjoy wine when I'm having a nice meal, but I don't know anything about it. I just ask the waiter what's good and try to pick something that's less than 50 bucks for a bottle.

If I wanna have a classy drink I have a martini. That'll get you more toasted than wine anyway.

My mom has a system for choosing wine: if it's expensive and has the name of someone in our family in the name ("Chateu Michel" for example) then it's good.

Probably because wine is over 12% alcohol compared to a measely 5% in beer (I'm sure you realized that though ). Don't waste your money buying expensive wine if you can't tell the difference. I don't like to pay more than like $15 for a bottle. But I'm not a connoisseur or whatever.
