I'm not saying clinton was a great man, but you can't pin the blame on him for that 'attack' that failed pretty bad, I might add.

while you're at it, learn to type sentences we can all understand.
And the 9/11/01 attack happened only 9 months into W's term. BTW, that "failure' killed people. My apologies for typing too fast. You obviously understood what I was saying.

"hey dumbass".... good retort. I'm consulting my 7 yr old cousin for a comeback.... maybe not.

guess what. 9 months is almost a year.

3 months isn't.

and I'm not a democrat

wow.. did you come up with that all by yourself? there's only a 6 month difference there. it could've been 3 months 9 months or two years and 9 months. the fact still remains that terrorist attacks happen. no one person that didn't actually have a part in the bomb, plane, etc... can be held responsible.

you blame bush for something that was totally out of anyone's control but the terrorists that carried out the attacks. and then, in that same breath you bitch about the measures that have been put in place to prevent those types of attacks from ever happening again. in what way does that train of thought carry any logic or reason? that's exactly right, it doesn't. the only thing you post over and over in a nutshell is bush is the devil, bush killed christ, bush singlehandedly destroyed the economy and is responsible for the outbreak of communism in europe and asia in the earlier part of the 20th century, etc.... it's feces, plain and simple. try putting the cold hard facts together for a change instead of misconstrued factoids and obscure editorials to talk around your point instead of making it. come up with something that every democrat and anti-bush platformed politician on the planet isn't spewing.

well, I sure don't agree with bush. I sure think he's going about things the wrong way, and I sure think that there's things we can be doing that would help us rather than be detrimental.

Of course, in todays twisted society, show me information that hasn't been twisted by either side. Show me a media source that isn't biased. Show me an honest politician. Thats right, this is all crap that can't be shown.

I don't care if bush stole an election or not. I don't care if clinton was a better president or not. I don't care if Gore is sitting around with his thumb up his ass.

What I do care is that Bush is in office, and he doesn't seem to be doing a good job to me. I think that maybe he could do better. I try and find information on my side that supports my idea's, and thats pretty much the best I can do. I know I'm not going to change anything, but fuck it, I don't have anything better to do.

So instead of going back and forth saying we're both wrong, how about we turn the direction of this thread.

Lets figure out how he could do his job better.

Giving a platform for my argument on how peace would work to our benifit on this war against terror, I think first of all, we need to stop fighting them. The koran says (and I'm paraphrasing) "if we are attacked, we must take up arms and fight against the invaders." yes, they're a very defensive society. But not too much later, it say "but if they're peaceful, you must be peacful as well"

guess who likes to use the koran to justify attacks? I'll give you a hint. Their initicals are A.Q.

I shit you not, we can do a better job than we are. I know america has come a long way from the romans and greeks of past, but bush proves day by day that that may not be true at all.

well.. first of all.. we can't just pull out and leave. if we do then we leave iraq in particular in total anarchy. that's political suicide for any politician making that decision. let's be realistic. it's not gonna happen under any president at this point.

the problem with getting the lawlessness of iraq under control is the total lack of infrastructure in that country. cities are isolated from each other for the most part. personally i think the bush stance is right on point since the reconstruction plans include building/rebuilding said infrastructure. basically it's like the wild west of the 1800's in this country with automatic weapons.

honestly, i don't think there is a right or wrong way to go about dealing with the middle eastern countries. this is all uncharted territory. we've seen what non-involvement gets us under the clinton administration. now we go down the other road since the first was a dead end.

ahhh ... yes.
Another $87billion dollar bill forked over to the average American taxpayer (most who really dont give 2 shits about Iraq). It wasn't our business to go there but now we did, and now we're forced to pay. $87billion dollars?! Do you have any idea what can be done to improve AMERICA with $87b instead of Iraq? You know ... the old days of warfare used to be "go in and get the job done and leave their problems to themselves". Now ... we go in, destroy everything and then rebuild it for them. WTF is that? The war was dumb in the first place, but that's just ****ing insane.
