Bush has won alot of respect for his concept of a new world order, where the options are pretty much accept democracy or face the consequences.

We crumbled a regime they thought would give us serious problems in one month. We have eliminated that regime's lifeblood, that being Hussein's sons, and now that has happened, Iran, while not very public about it, is very worried.

Ok, back to REALITY. If they had WMD, why didnt they use them when we attacked? I guess instead of defending themselves and their native country with weapons that could do the job, they would much rather die. Yea, that sure makes sense to me. But hey, look on the bright side, attacking a 2nd world nation without any means to defend themselves is great for the polls! Hurray for the voters!

As well they should be. See, this is the time we go all out. They started this freaking mess, and by God we're gonna finish it. We've got the power, the people, and the guns to do it. As far as I'm concerned, the fighting that has gone on since biblical times is gonna come to an end one way or another. And if 9/11 was the catalyst, so be it. I know I sound like some good 'ole boy, but that's how I feel it has to be.

I can't see why people blame palistine so much. Granted they don't like the jews much either, they were displaced from there land. Of course they're gonna retaliate. Ask the indians.
I don't know where some people have been, but much of the mid-east is now seriously shaking in their towels.

You guys should post all this stuff in the "Biggest Thread..." we have. ;-)
I do agree mostly with 18secFerio on most terms. He should haven't mentioned #2 altogether. Caused a big pile of arguments because of his "what-ifs".
We need more alternatives Al-Jazeeras. Even if you dont believe them, at least promotes Freedom of speech and biased believes will not be able to cicrculate as much.
Looking at the knowledge of some of the people in here. I have no right to speak, but it does look like some poeple have to open themselves to some possibilities of how this world works.

Blah blah blah this is such an either or topic. The country went to war-not Bush. Congress gave him the go-ahead. Granted, saying there are 2 stable governments in each country is ignorant. It seems, however, the people in both countries (the people, not the radical extremists) are happy we evicted the Taliban and the Saddam regime. Bush did make a big stink about WMD's in Iraq. That's all he talked about, for the most part, before the war. So liberals that want to attack that is fair game. Of course, he probably did have them, and he probably sold them to ther countries or just gave them to people that hate us equally.
