The Basement Non-Honda/Acura discussion. Content should be tasteful and "primetime" safe.

"Random selection" at the Obama town hall meeting wasn't quite so random.

Filtered heavily means they chose who was in there, and the chose who was going to get to ask their question.

It actually made the news later in Bush's administration, because they filtered the audience less so he would appear to be "more connected with the people".

It's just funny, that's all.

BTW, does "filtered heavily" equate to preselection?
well since both sides did it - cant really make it a point to say one side is more wrong than the other.

thanks for the cliffs - way to long to read

Seriously all this shit is annoying. You know you wanted a heated discussion and now you are backing into a corner ("It's just funny, that's all. ") because even Jesse is saying this is moot h:
im saying the digging up facts is moot

i still think it should be pointed out everytime he says totally at random because its such a blatant lie. they all should get called out everytime they say it.

Pretty much. This stuff isn't really a suprise. Republican, democrat, whatever. Both parties do the same crap. Obama's as crooked as the rest of em.

Cool avatar BTW. I've always read it that way.

Why do you insist on arguing American politics Tark? Didn't we have this discussion just the other day?

the problem in this case is, instead of reporting fairly, the mainstream media backs obama and is pushing his agenda.

i'm 100% against obamacare as planned, and i'm not saying that just because some right-wing lobbyist or whatever told me to. but it's what the obama admin and the media want you to believe, that's the idea they keep pushing, and it drives me fucking nuts.

why do you insist on trying to keep me away from american politics. If it is written in the this boards policy that i'm not allowed to post my opinions on American politics then warn me or ban me. In the mean time i am allowed to post anything i want in these threads.

BTW I'm not the only Canadian who posted here so eat a dick.
