i used to eat Steak tartar all the time when i was younger... It's good stuff with fries. Restaurant dont serve it anymore.
and i call it minced meat or Viande Haché

Incorrect. Pâté is cooked. Alot of the time it is liver... but it is also a mix of other meats as well. It's almost always cooked.
Steak Tartare is raw. Usually mixed with egg, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, onion and capers. Excellent brunch meal with some french fries IMO.

Last time I was there... Thursdays next to Winnies on Crescent St serves it for Sunday brunch :thumbup:
