First off this isint a USA isint doing anything thread. and second of all... what the fuck are you talking about? who said that about Saddam? In fact Russia and France both vetoed (remember freedom fries?!?). The USA did what ever they wanted even if the rest of the world was disagreeing with going to war with Irak. Doing so endangered all other country, made it even less stable in the region and made people hate the US more because of the "if you're not with us you're agaisnt us" BS

That's all I was sayin. Honestly, If it were up to me, I'd (feel like) sitting back and letting the whole damn world go to crap rather than being it's police and keeping it from blowing itself up. Sometimes that's what I wish we'd do though I know the whole world would regret it. Maybe when China and India are the world powers they can assume the role of worlds police and the U.S. can take a break.

Calm down there turbo. Admittedly, I don't know everything about the international agreements or opinion about the Iraq war when it began. But similar to Iraq, corruption, abuse and retarded leadership are to blame for Zimbabwe's issue. . For whatever reason the U.S. decided to take out Saddam, the international opinon on the matter, at least in the peoples eyes, is that Saddam needed to be out of power. Even if the U.S. would have had nothing but the best intent for Iraq, they still would have gotten crap for it. Hell, even if it was internationally agreed upon, I'm confident we'd still have gotten crap for it, at least from the commom popular vote of people, national and international.

reasons given to invade Irak =\= everything about the international agreements or opinion about the Iraq war
I'm saying I don't know well the history of the pre-war engagements with other countries prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Thanks for enlightening me on a few of the basics. I'll have to look up the international issues between other countries and the U.S. prior to the war. But that doesn't necessarily invalidate the point of the previous comment:
america could do it
