Default Xbox Live: Open NAT Settings

Anybody know how the heck I get "open" nat settings?

I have moderate now and I cant change it.

I have Verizon FiOs.

I read some ho-to's to no avail :hs:

open ports UDP 88 and TCP/UDP 3074 on your router to the xbox's IP.

hahahahaha

welcome to my hell a couple weeks ago

i will say this skells, if you have another machine running online and its got the first connection i notice then i always run moderate.

ie, if theres a laptop online before my xbox goes online then i run moderate. if i am the only machine on the internet i get open and then if someone connects with their laptop it still lets me stay open

i assume its the whole "sharing a single ip with more than 1 machine" idea

through the xobx, you should be able to find out somewhere what IP youre getting from your router.

then from the router configuration..... there should be a port forwarding page where you can enter in the xbox IP and the ports.
