Word, and I think 9/11 was far, far worse of a tragedy.

A mere $1 quadrillion would dwarf the U.S. gross domestic product, which Scott said was $13.2 trillion in 2007.

Katrina wasnt a tragedy it was a disaster, a natural disaster. It was avoidable and the blame doesnt all lie on the governments shoulders, especially the national government.
These people, and no offense phat, have to take some blame for themselves ... no insurance, no emergency plan. when you live in a geographically bowl surrounded by water you have to be an absolute idiot to not have some sort of evacuation plan, be it personal or one recommended by the city. and there the city holds up its part on the blame.

No offense taken, i don't disagree one bit playa. Some people here are just looking for some quick dough, no doubt about it. My family was well prepared. My dad paid insurance on his house for the 20 something odd years he has owned it and it paid off. And for the 20 something years my family have lived here, it was the first time we evacuated because we knew it was trouble. For a lot of people they had time and resources to evacuate, it was their own fault, they had enough time to prepare.
But dude imagine how many TVs you could buy for that much $$$
You be like MIR? effed that biatch... I'll just wipe this hundred on my poop cover ass... holla!
