Drew, did it shut down mid game on you?

 

So I got my xbox up and running and it's playing burned games, all that's left is to get the wireless adapter and I'm set. Unless I can use my PC as a bridge for the Xbox's connection, but I haven't spotted anything as of yet =/

In the middle of a game, the screen turned black as if the host quit. From there, all players were dropped. I was then sent to the lobby where I got the message "cannot connect to Xbox Live".

that's pretty spiffy.

how do you copy a game, straight up? 1:1 with something like Nero?




I'm tempted to try something like that with the spare console, but I'll just wait till the Arcade version hits $150. I'll get another then.

XBL didn't go down until 10 after the hour.

 

You have to download the DVD9 Images and burn using clonecd. The images are stealthed/patched to work on xbox live as well. Also you have to have the correct DVD drive, but there are people on craigslist that will firmware hack your dvd drive for you to let it play backups. I'll look some stuff up and let you know, my buddy did it for me.

 

So you can play backed up discs on XBL without risk of them knowing?
