im just glad the quick turnaround, when im in the city theres really not a lot i enjoy doing. the xbox is my sanity keeper

 

dude i am becoming an xbox addict. my dad is like when you going to vacume the house. im like shit.

 

it's cool. i didn't do much anyway. i'm in the process of moving, so i can only play on a 20" widescreen computer monitor, with no sound. it's harder when you can't hear bullets flying by you. i get caught from behind all the time.

 

No sound is really rough. : \

I had my volume a bit low and felt out-of-it. I couldn't hear Ghost's, sniper rounds, and grenade "clinks" at all ... it's amazing how much you depend on your ears as well as your eyes.

I even hear power-ups respawn and disappear when I'm close enough.

See ... we told ya the system was awesome. The quality of games are here today, they're here right now. With the PS3, you're going to be sitting on promises as release dates slip and pass by.

Xbox live is so freaking cool. Game alone, game with a buddy, it's never hard enjoying your system no matter how social you're feeling.

i have been looking into the 2008 xbox drew, and the games look promisings still. gears of war 2, left for dead, resident evil 5.

i have to pick up orange box then cod 4

 

As long as my cable/internet get setup on Saturday I may be able to squeak in a few games unless I am beyond tired from moving everything in.

No promises though...but I generally always check bungie.net to see who is on before jumping on the system.

 

There are titles still coming, no doubt. In comparison to 2007's 360 lineup and 2008's PS3 promises, the 360 will fall off quite a bit in the meantime.

Buying COD4 was a mistake for me. It's not that the game isn't great (so I've heard) ... it's just that I like Halo 3 a bit too much. I couldn't get into it at all.

 

I haven't touched COD4 beyond the opening screen...and it was a gift to me too from a fellow HANer.

 

i can't wait 'til i get better internet.
