I got my first real taste of halo 3 last night. Getting used to the controls, I keep pressing x to reload my weapon. :doh:

 

for the first 2 weeks, I was dropping bubble shields in the middle of gun fights. :doh2:

The campaign is fucking :love:

 

i played yesterday with a bunch of friends. so hard for me b/c i'm not used to the controls still. and the special grenades/mines trip me up.

 

anyone having problems getting on live 2nite?

 

Something is wrong with bungie. It was taking FOREVER to get into games this afternoon

 

I couldn't sign into live about an hour ago, not that it mattered I was watching a movie and wifey is playing mass effecth:

I think a lot of halo 3 copies came in for Xmas, probably why games are taking longer, servers are loaded. Kinda glad we're occupied with a new game, jump back into Halo in the new year, fresh start;D

 

The other night, there were 100,000 players in Social Slayer alone. That didn't even happen on launch day.


Also, the XBL issue is everywhere. Other boards have similar threads about it being down.

everytime i was in a fire fight, someone else would come along and steal my kill, or get right in front of me so i ended up betraying them. it was awesome.
