soo question for you drew:

if i purchased the core system ... do the cores have HDMI and also do the cores support wireless controllers?

i know they come with a wired controller, but if i bought a wireless would it synch?

 

Core systems are discontinued. If you happen to see one, it's old stock. They're most-likely mfg'ed in April of 07, so no HDMI.

Any wireless controller can be synched to any system. There's a "learn" button found near memory card slot 2 on the console. Hit that.

Another learn button can be found on the wireless controller. It's found between the R and L triggers on the top of the unit. Hit that and hold it close to the console.

The console will then learn your wireless controller.

 

yea i mean i have experience with the 360 ... my old roomie had one the first week they came out. i just didnt know how the cores work...

discontinued you say ... thats weird, only because i see them all over best buy and target and circuit city's websites.

and if thats the case about no HDMI and the old manf. then i guess ill spend the extra 70 and get the premium. i wanna run the 360 on my pc monitor for now.

I had to work and i was still over the gf's apt so i decided to spend some time with her before we went to sleep. I am currently trying to get out as we speak :shhh: if im successful i should be back on around 2pm EST

 

What's great about that is this. I have the core system and have a warranty with best buy. If my system dies and since they no longer carry the core system, i'm going to get store credit for the price i paid for the 360. I can then use that money to buy an elite or a premium. I also would have a second HD to use for demos and movies and such

so how far are you guys on the campaign? i'm on level 8 where you're in the flood's lair, and so far i hate this level... i'm hoping the final level isn't as crappy as this one.
