yes, anyone around you will have their radar jammed. that's how it was in halo 2.

i really dont remember my radar being jammed from my teamates cloaking :thinking:

I also played the my best game ever yesterday. Even got a dream crusher medal. sucks cause i died once... would've loved to finnaly get a perfection

the dream crusher medal is exactly what's wrong with the reach beta.

The Dreamcrusher Medal is a spree medal awarded for killing ten opponents in a row with a Gravity Hammer without dying.

Man you guys forgot the Halo feel... I agree there is alot of improvements to be made. But Halo's slayer has always been a run out and kill game. So many times i almost died but the other team sucked too much to kill me.

The melee engine is fucked. You run, gun, punch ... realize the guy hasn't died ... gun some more ... then some random BS grenade takes you out from 10 feet away. Also, when the hammer guy lunges, he looks like a fucking ice skater.

In H3, there's a counter balance to the runners ... in Reach, you just can't stop a hammer. You just can't stop a sword. In H3, I can make you pay for picking up that stuff.

Trust the people who are on this for over 4 hours a night, this gameplay isn't right. Going from H3 where I have a consistent 2.0-ish K/D ratio ... I can't even go positive in Reach using the exact same playing style. When you play games within the same family, there's not supposed to be this drastic of a change.

#6, that rocket would have left the person 1 shot in H3
#4, the guy who did the shooting + melee didn't even get the kill, the needle rifle guy cleaned up after

like i said improvements are to be done... i agree with the melee part. most of the guns need to be tweaked... the power is just not right.

As for the hammer I disagree, i've used the needle to kill the hammer carrier over and over again.

It is a different game, it's a different style and obviously playing the same style you guys are used to will not work. The guns arent even the same so you'll have to adjust.

I just think you guys are bitching because you're not used to this game style yet. It is different thats for sure. thankfully H3 is still there for you guys
