Very tempted. After 2 hours of Reach, I'm ready to go back.
Reach's instant appeal was through the roof. Glorious graphics. Crisp sounds. Fantastic new gametypes (stockpile, headhunter). Ultra slick interfaces. Fast matchmaking. Gameplay was ... well cool.
Then after 5 hours ... questions came up, "how come I cant ..."
After 10 hours ... statements like "that's bullshit ..." were said 10x a game.
When I say "bullshit", I really mean it.
- Full DMR clip into someone's head ... head visibly bouncing, nothing happening.
- Sprinting away from a rocket hiding behind a wall ... only to die behind it.
- Melee hell
- etc

- POP! PUNCH! Yeah! got this joker right in the back with a melee. I walk away, he spins around and assassinates me.
- BANG! Sniper connects. BANG! Sniper connects. Why is this guy still coming at me? Why did his partner spawn right ontop of him? I thought that wasn't allowed? Great, here comes 2 grenades.
- Alright everybody, lets go with "choose none". 4 of us do it. The other 4 players leave the default gametype selected. Yay. Another round of 1 flag CTF on Powerhouse.

One more thing ... after playing Reach for so many hours, watch this:

Out stats guru, RocketMoose, tells us that the average player kicked in fourteen games during the inaugural run! That amounts to about 29.67 years of total time. Overall, we saw more players on the first day then we did over the entirety of the Halo 3 Beta. Thanks for the investment. We'll make sure it pays dividends.

are you guys leaving your feedback on bungie? truthfully there is alot to be fixed with reach, but once again its a beta so we really cant complain. i like the game play its quicker and smoother. jumping sucks, hammer is wayyyy too strong, dmr can be better but i do like it alot. i love that the sniper rifle is back! new extra features are cool but need lots of work. over all ill be playing it till the beta is gone.
