the mpeg2 looks much better. I took both videos, put them in side-by-side browsers, and paused at 0:16. The mpeg2 has more detail and color range.

yeah, i noticed the detail difference quite a bit.
I actually was really suprised that the WMV was even that good, though.

those videos were created and rendered in Vegas Pro in about 4-5 minutes. I think I like that program.

Yeah, that first clip was a little jumpy when I ripped it cause I didn't realize I had my torrent client going and it was eating my resources.
