It was so scary when it turned into a 1 lane section right next to the tall cliff in the valley. My gf was freaking out. We actually turned around

They didnt say anything about that part though. But they did say it voids the contract if you go on the south east section of the island because its not paved. We never made it that far anyway

Thanks for making this thread. I'm traveling to Maui in September for my honeymoon so this should help with the planning. If you don't mind me asking, how much were your package prices? It's looking like around $1900 per person for us for airfare and 7 nights hotel. :hs:
