What's the furthest you'd guys go to get the car you'd always wanted?

Given the upcoming demise of the current generation Mitsubishi Evolution, I'm thinking about plopping myself deep into debt so I can own one of these cars.

just some points of interest working in my favor...

1. 730ish credit score
2. If i part the teg out i can probably gather up 2500-3000 from the parts
3. If i sell the teg private party bone stock, its worth about 5k

any thoughts...minus the opinions you have about how you might not like evolutions?

 

personally a car isnt worth putting myself deep into debt.

 

i LOVE the evo.
but personally, i'm with keifers on this one.
even right now, i could afford a car that i really wanted, but it's only a car and there are other things more important than a car right now :hs:

i've been at this new job for two months now..so my financial outlooks are all skewed..

 

Not worth it. It's just a car, and most people outgrow them and move on to other things/vehicles. Why make your life difficult for something that will lose value in the long run?

 

How much does an Evo 4,5,6,7,8 cost in th US???

Do it if you can afford it, INC the running costs-service,tyres,petrol,etc.

 

we only have evo 8 and 9.
