as for the LS teg went, i was bitter for quite some time that it wasnt a GSR...i'm not going to make the same mistake, so i'm going to go for an SE or MR....

ive just accepted the fact that i will always be making car payments for the rest of my life (unless i become filthy rich, but then ill have other expenses instead). so i personally just figure out how much a month i am willing and capable of "spending" on a car... then i go get it when i can. my car payment as it is right now is $500.38/month, but im financing the car. as soon as i trade it in, im gonna just lease my next cars. with that, my budget is to keep my lease payments under $700. but then i have to factor in the increase (most likely) in gas consumption and insurance premium.

 

sure until you factor in having to deal with EPA and federal safety requirements.. which none of those cars will meet. but i believe there is already a company in Florida that is importing the older EVOs

here are some other factors:

Good for EVO purchase:
1.)If I really pinched pennies, I could probably pay it off (assuming an 8k down) in 2 years...
2.)I still live with the parents...with relatively small fees
3.)The demise of the evo IX (influential factor for me)

Bad for EVO purchase:
1.)I could use the money I get for the integra to clear ALL my CC debt and still have a couple grand left over.
2.)It could be used to save up for a downpayment on a house...
3.)I could move out of the parents' place
4.)I could just get another car, like a base turbo wrx, used TL, etc.
