Default car suggestions for $30-35k

just tryin to think ahead in terms of a future purchase in about 1.5-2 yrs from now. i could probably comfortably afford a car in that price range

im torn between a few possibilities. first, i want a coupe cuz i just love only having 2 doors. i love my current car and my only gripe is that its underpowered. so for that price i was thinkin a G35coupe. i cant think of any other 2dr car that has that kind of power, comfort and amenities for that price. only gripe is that the interior still looks cheap to me. but i dont want anything smaller than an rsx or s2k cuz it would be my only car and those dont come in handy when trying to move a few things like my keyboard/guitar and other stuff

but i also have an affinity towards cars like the TSX. id be dead set on one if it wasnt for the fact that its only got 205hp (for now). its got great styling, although i liked it better before the minor facelift, its sporty (enough), and definitely not HUGE like a TL. then again, the fact that they'll be redoing the TSX in about 2 yrs makes me think about whether i should wait or not. id consider a G35, but the sedans interior once again looks really cheap to me.

so overall, a car w/ class and decent power. how much do the new ISs go for? would their IS250 version have enough hp?

New IS250 manual RWD goes for around $32K, but they only have 204-hp, and it seemed like that was an issue w/ the TSX. Have you thought about the Legacy Spec-B at all, or does that Subaru stigma bother you?

yeah, id want something w/ at least 240hp (using my car's v6 as a standard ) isnt the v6 manual scheduled to come out soon? and how much do those go for?

about the spec-B, id consider it also. my families owned 2 subies in the past and they were fine for us. the first one died cuz a huge truck t-boned my mom and jacked it up beyond repair. the second one is a 97 legacy thats still kickin. only thing is that its not as refined as the other choices im thinkin about. but the AWD and turbo'd engine are a huuuuge plus

Don't the new accords have 240hp? Plus you'll save like 10 grand.

Before the new SAE standards, the Accord V6 6Speed was rated at 260.

tack on another 10HP when using premium gas too.

You could spend the 10K on making it look a lot better.
