Default Need help diagnosing a car problem.

Most of my driving is 35 mph or less in a small town with lots of 4-way stops. Well, lately when I come to a stop at a 4 way stop with my clutch in, my car will suddenly just die. All the electrical stuff stays on, and when I crank it, it starts right back up and I'm off on my merry way, but I can't figure out why its happening. Also, when I'm cruising at a constant speed and let up on the gas then reapply gas, it sometimes gets really jerky for about a second. Neither of these instances (car dying at a stop sign or the car jerking) happen all the time, but it's happened probably 4-5 times in the last week and I'm beginning to wonder what is going on.

It's got new plugs and wires, new dist. cap/rotor, recently had the oil changed.

Any ideas?

you might also want to clean out your IACV valve, that should help also.

Try new plugs. If it still does it, try fuel filter.
