LMAO... yeah... THAT'S IT. That was where it flipped on it's back and died, and that's about the 50lbs I want to shed.
Anyone know about gutting the PS in the accords? 5th gen btw
I'm guessing the only problem (or at least because I haven't really taken a good look at it) is where the pressure line goes to from the pump, and just pull it out and plug the other end.
Question... does the pressure line from the also provide any type of lubrication with the PS fluid in the steering? Don't know if you understand the question. Does the PS pump the fuild into a hydrolic system that just pushes right and left... or how does it work.
Guess the question is just basically does removing the PS system affect anything

no offense nd....but i think you need a new car. all your pizza boy tips are going into this car. you have brake problems...(other post)....needs muffler(and who knows what else like flex pipe), no power sterring (not that you need it) and problem gobs of other problems that i havent found in all your other posts. sell it and get a metro. pizza boys around here do well with metros. lol no offense

haha ya but it keeps working! so long as it works, i'm riding this donkey. I'll never get more than 1500 for the thing cause of mileage/body damage, and there is no sign of me getting another job, so the beater stays. It just won't die, and that suits me just fine.
Fuck metros, they are small and slow and ugly.

glad you liked the humor....but no offense here either ok? lol find a diffrent mechanic....stop going to joe schmoe down the road. take it to sears...they offer free front end checks.....15 dollar brake inspects....and so on. with the dying walrus souns you state your mechanic said he wouldnt know if the r+p was bad until he changed it. a "normal" mechanic would have gave you options with effects. for example......more then likely mr. nd the dying walrus sound might be from no cap on your power steering resovoir and that you are just low on fluid. lets replace that first and see if your problems go away mr nd. worst case scenerio mr. nd is if the noise doesnt go away we could try a new pump/flush....then the r+p mr. nd. this way mr. nd we are solving problems we know first (cap) and slowly progressing to more expensive alternatives. print this and hand this to jow schmoe.....he sucks at brakes too!!!!!
