People find stupid shit to spend money on, I wish I had money to piss away replacing parts that work fine with a part that does the same job no better but actually probably worse because it's more likely to get you pulled over or attract attention for no good reason. Leave your tailights alone, they have a function, that function is to tell other drivers your foot is on the brake and at night to show them you are there in addition. It works, so leave it alone.
