In VA you'll be ticketed and have to explain it to the judge.

My brother's car got hit by some young girl who didn't have insurance. Cop didn't do shit. She got away scotch free and we had to touch up my brother's bumper. She must of flirted with the cop

If you hit me in your uninsured piece of shit, I will beat your ass to a pulp -- and I'll claim self defense and win.

And VA requires insurance, I assume?
Thanks a lot for breaking the law...

My car was hit by an uninsured driver this February.
It cost me $500 out of pocket, but it cost my insurer nearly 4 times as much.

Guess what that does to everyone else's insurance rates?

I think it's the same way here in CA, plus a hefty fine.
With the way most people drive today, I'm in favor of strict enforcement and stiff penalties.

oh yeah i forgot the fine.... you pay a storage lot fee per day until you prove insurance and have your car registered etc.

my friend lives in lacrosse, WI... he had basic insurance on his car and got rocked by a guy with no insurance. in WI i guess you dont have to have it, one of the last states like that.... he was up shit creek, there was nothing he could do about it. more or less ended up throwing his car away.
