Default 300zx Transmission

hey.. I'm thinking of selling my teg for 1700 hoping to buy this 300zx twin turbo for 1200. But the problem is the transmission is about to be blown. So can you guys give me some help by estimating how much is the labor to put in a new automatic tranmission?. and a estimate of converting to manual. I don't have any experience on those things.

you jeust need a manual transmission and if it is the 90-96 zx's it will probabally cost around say $500 to get a new one automatic but for stick maybe around $700 still a bargin for a 300zx twin turbo for $1200. If it is 90-96 let me know I will buy it

:hahano: ha ha ummm, no.

It's going to take a lot more money and labor than that. Search for it on http://www.300zxclub.com/

All you have to do is look at his sig and you know he knows very little about much of anything. :chuckles:

It's not as cheap as that 4bunging69 makes it sound. The only real way to shave much off the cost is to install it yourself after rebuilding the old tranny. Aside from that it is going to cost at least as much as the $1200 you are spending on the car itself.
