For those going to be in a caravan type thing. It might be good to get some kind of reflective bright colored sticker to put on the back window of your car, towards the left side would be better. Kind of like a funeral thing, that way even if you don't know the other people, it'll be easy to recognize who's in the group.
Also, should work out a system (headlight flashing maybe) to signal if someone needs to stop for gas or tinkles. That way either the whole caravan can pull over or just signal and it'd be like a "hey, I'm taking the next exit, go slower and I'll catch up within 20mins" or something.
I got these ideas from going on a few caravan type trips and someone in the back didn't remember who they were with and just took an exit. They got lost and ended up finding their way but took them an extra 2 hours.
Oh, and anyone that has a cell phone should share their number with others with a cell phone.
