how low is too low?

Default how low is too low?

first off how low is your car?? alright when i got my balljoints replaced my alignment was jacked up and toar my tires up in less than two tanks of gas. my stock tires are 13s but i just figured they were 14s b4 i looked so i put on these 15s from a saturn thinking how big a diff wil 1 inch make til i could get into the tire shop but when i lowered my car back down from the stands there was about an 1/8 in gap between the tire and fender and when i turned the wheel the gap was no more....this isnt too low is it or can i only put 15s on with low profile tires

just get a camber kit if u dont want the tire wear...the top of my tires are a little into the wheel well, and i was fine all summer

My car is this low


And yes a camber kit is required if you want to keep tires for longer than 1000 miles.

yeah i got those 4 tires for $50 brand new and had them since september so i didnt loose much. and ive already got my adjustable ball joints installed. but what do you think the biggest i can go with the rims is. sounds like it might have to be 14 which kinda sucks i had my eye on some 15s or maybe even 16s

My front bumper is less than 4 inches off the ground, and I had to get a camber kit almost immediately (brand new tires became choppy quick).

If I keep the car, I'm going to get some 19's for it. h: I sold my rims yesterday. :happysad:

i had bout 75% tread on one side and metal threads showing on the inside when i finally decided it was time for new tires after the camber was corrected of course....i shoulda kept them to show you guys
