Default did i blow a fuse? .. what did i hit with that screw?

i built a new speaker cabinent thing for my trunk. we were screwing in L brackets to hold it in place. i had my car started with the auto-start, and we put a screw in and the car shut off. the car starts with the key, none of the functions on my remote work (alarm, remote start), my headlights work, but the gauges dont light up, i dont have any blinkers or taillights/brake lights

the speaker wall thing looks good though h:

So...what DID you hit with that screw? Did this happen the moment the screw was going in? Where is the location of that hole?

Pics of project? Im thinking about redoing my trunk also. :happysad:

Yeah...where the hell did you put that screw? Any wires it could have gone through? Grounds?

it happened when the screw was going in..

its a board that holds my 2 12" loudspeakers that is behind my backseat, so when you fold down the seat you can see them. ive had it for a while, but it was just wood and looked pretty bootleg. i just took it out to vinal it, which came out awesome. my damn camera still hasnt come from HP, so no pics

Did YOU run any wires there that it could have caught? Also, it could be just a coincidence that it happened at the same time you put the screw in. Check the rest of your wiring and fuses.

i would say check all your fuses. i think you may have poped a fuse for your parking lights(cuz they usually come one when you remote start).

Like I said, check fuses. Check the fuses in the engine bay fuse box, check the fuses underneath the dash. Go over all of your wiring and grounds that you have done...check for grounds that have come undone, shorts, etc.
