I got nabbed today for my out-of-date inspection sticker, and I depserately need mt car to get to school. It will NOT pass inspection. I was hoping someone would help me out with one if they knew someone or wokred at an inspection station themselves. I will pay extra of course for the help. Please help me out with this!

 

why wont it pass?

 

Cracked windshield, slightly camber-worn tires, will not pass smog due to burning oil from a valve I replaced and I didnt have money to get any machining done. This is just my beater that I need badly to get to school.

 

I feel your pain, but nobody with any sense would do that for you. Catch a ride with somebody.

 

Actually, all I REALLY need is the 5-day stamped then I can worry about sticker after that. I will pay for the stamp of course if someone could help me out. I am very, very desperate. Please, someone!

 

And people say California's "CARB LAWS" are strict.

Our emission standards may be high, but at least they don't freak out over a windshield, camber, blinkers, mirrors, and all that other crap.

Okay, back on topic. Sorry to hear man -- you need to make your car legal, don't know what else to tell you.
