Is the TSX over rated or is my Integra faster?

Is the TSX over rated or is my Integra faster?
As you guys may know my car has been at Acura since last tuesday. Friday I was given a loaner. A 2004 Acura TSX. 2.4L I-VTEC. So tell me this if you guys know. Do you think they govern or manage the loaners is some way so the car does not have full performance? Cause the TSX i have outside right now is not all that impressive. I honestly feel if I were to take this car to a track and race my car in stock trim, my GSR would win. The TSX does not kick down like I thought it would. So maybe they retarded the fuel or something? I don't know...but it does not seem like it is all that. It's real nice, but lacks cajones from what I can see.

Is the loaner an auto? If so that is part of the reasoning. Also, the TSX is totally different from a GSR. It is heavier, longer and much more refined. It is not meant to be a balls out car likemany GSR drivers turn their GSR's into. Stock for stock they should both pull the same 0-60 times.

I doubt they'd go to the trouble of putting an additional governor on a dealer loaner car. The auto(?) tranny is probably a big enough detriment to performance. :chuckles:
A general note about these sorts of threads:
Magazines and independent testing firms publish their findings.
Use them to get your answer, if you want an objective one.
Moved. Because I can.

The TSX has better usable torque due to the larger engine displacement. Although I think the new 2005 RSX-S is quicker. BUT you cannot reprogram the ECU through Hondata in the 2005s.

The K motor's i-VTEC, even in the full implementations like the TSX and RSX Type S, is nothing as dramatic as the old VTEC in cars like the ITR and GS-R. That doesn't mean you're not accelerating quickly, however.
