Dude, that's scary. Someone is really going to get hurt or killed if things don't change. She's legally an adult so you really can't tell her what to do. But if she's still living with mom&dad then take the privilages away from family cars. She should buy her own and hopefully she'll start paying more attention to what's going on out there. Not to mention she'd probably take better care of a car she had to pay for with hard earned $.

that is absolutley ridiculous, that many accidents and she's only had her license for about 5 years I'm guessing. That is an unacceptable amount of accidents for an entire lifetime of driving IMO.

Wow that's a lot of accidents. Does your sister just drive aggressively, or just not pay attention?

Dang, I wish I was a girl. I jacked up my car pretty good once (plowed up a curb, insurance covered it). Then I got in a little fender bender with this car and we didn't file a claim, but my mom called our insurance and did a little "say...uh, what if blah blah blah" and the lady said we'd most likely get dropped if we filed a claim (keep in mind neither of my parents have been in wrecks in years). That's pretty durn gay. My sister turned 16 yesterday. I really hope she drives better by herself than when my parents are in the seat beside her; I have a feeling she might end up being like yours.

They wont drop you from the policy, theyll just jack up the rates a ridiculous amount. Its not like other insurance companies are gonna be dying for your business with a record like that. She def needs to pay more attention when driving. And for some odd reason my insurance went down substantially when I turned 21 and ive got a few tickets on my record.
