i dont tip anyone becuz i could use the money myself and every buck adds up, so sorry maybe when im rich.

also, asking for a tip is the most lamest thing to do, its like why dont u just add on a delivery fee while ur at it. you dont deserve a tip if u didnt work for it...

I'm going to be charitable and assume that if you cannot afford to tip then you are not presuming to order services from people who rely on customer tips to survive.

So, you're staying out of restaurants completely? You never have to park your car anywhere? You never go on a tour or a cruise?

 

hmmm...i went to a restaurant today, bill was 17, tipped 3 (spilit wit my friend) so it was like bare minimum. who do u tip when u park on the street? the metermaid i guess.... on tours, i dont tip nor on vacations becuz my parents handle that.

and no, if i were to get a crap job, i wouldnt rely on tips but would work hard and wait for that promotion. if i dont get it, back to education or another job...

 

You should tip the drivers if they are nice. I feel bad for the job they have to do, especially since they have to help mop up the restaurant and help with the mini tasks. They are also using their own car and gas to bring you the pizza. Sure it's an easy job but who goes out in life and says 'I want to become a delivery boy'. Hopefully a tip will make brighten their day.

A friend of mine is a delivery boy and he makes $5/hour CDN from the restaurant and then the rest in tips, usually about $5/hour if he drives really fast.

 

I tip well, I deliver pizza myself, and I know our delivery guys get paid under minimum wage, and rely on tips.

 

min. wage here is 6.85 no?

 

ugh. another food service related topic. if you dont like the pay and tips suck, then get a new job. if u cant get a new job because youre stupid, inexperienced, or both, thats just too f*cking bad then. bite the bullet and push forward, or just sit there and bitch and go nowhere.
