I don't know, I guess when my mother (bless her heart) renewed my insurance for me (I pay for it, she just happened to renew it and give me the bill) she did it with a $2,500 deductable .

Right now I'm sitting here waiting for the adjuster to come over, and then I'm taking it to a shop. When that happends, I'll find out how much it costs to do it. If it's under $2,500.00 I have to pay it out of pocket, if it's over $2,500.00 I pay $2,500.00 and then insurance pays the rest.

So to answer your question, I don't know how much. I'm hoping not too much, but if it's under $2,500.00 I'll just get aftermarket stuff. Prolly OEM hood, E-Code lights, PZWO bumper or Votex bumper, hell I don't know; maybe I'll just buy someone's used OEM stuff and put that back on. Whatever comes out cheaper.

I'll take a pic of the estimate when I get it, it should be done around 11:00am.

I'm debating between an H&K USP 9 (again) or the Glock.
Probably the H&K cause that's what I'm used to. I'm not sure when I'm going to the range again, the academy is kick-starting soon so it may be delayed.

I didn't know one could get a deductible so high. You payin' like $5-10 a month for car insurance? :chuckles:

FYI a general rule of thumb...

if the damage isn't at least 2x you deductable, then don't bother getting insurance involved, else you'll pay lots more than that in increased fee's
