I take the bible in metaphoriclly. Same with the koran.

religion isn't just nothing. Religion is critical to humanity. However, what that exact religion is isn't the major issue, since they're for the mostpart similar.

however, commericalizing? I dunno, it just seems wrong, to me....

there's a truth to religion. not just christianity, not just islam, and not just tao. They're all right, and they all combine to form the same basic idea.

god, you can't have on-topic debates in off-topic :happysad:

well, fine then.

I don't see a point to the violence/gore/whatever

if the idea hasn't made it to people, I really don't see how 2 hours of blood will help.

but thats right, this society is twisted.....

also, a lot of the things in the bible also are backed up by other secular histories, so not ALL of the bible is metaphorical.

I agree somewhat.. but I'd say..

Clerks was the best. Then Mallrats, then Doga. Chasing Amy was good, but not in the same way as his other movies. I really enjoyed J&SBSB when I first saw it, but it completely lacks the replay value that Clerks, Dogma, Mallrats and even Chasing Amy have.
