Gears gears gears

Well looks like this week I get to learn how to change gears and carriers on my Jeep.

I will be going from 4.10 gears in the rear to 4.88s and in the front I will be swapping out 3.08 gears for a set of 4.88s as well which means more work on the front than the rear.

This is going to be fun :awais: :drunk:

huh, didnt know thr was diff. gear ratios for front and rear, i learned a lot of parts of the engine and turbos yesturday.

Well your not supposed to have different ratios between front and rear which is part of why I am switching mine out. The axles in the Jeep are swapped in and had different ratios so I am going to get them the same as well as upgrade with a lower gearset for rock crawling....after a while I am going to upgrade to 5.88 gears for some serious crawling power
