What do you guys think I should do? Get a lawyer? Call Action9? Any suggestions from anyone who has ever been in a similar situation would be appreciated.

Look on your receipt. If there isn't anything that states that another individual checking out the components will void the warrenty then you maybe got a shot. It there is then...eh... good luck and pray that you get a lot of x-mas money?
